Gatwick United FC U9 – Ashurst Wood Junior Knights U9, Gatwick United under 9’s played a brilliant game on Sunday against Ashurst Juniors.
It was end to end football with both teams attacking well and playing in a positive manner. After going 2 goals down we fought back to win this game which was fantastic for the players and all of the parents supporting. Richard Whale, our U9 team manager, managed to use a total of 13 players throughout the game rotating the team and every player played their part, working hard and putting in lots of effort.
It was great to see some new players showing such a great attitude and taking their opportunity. We defended well and also played lots of attacking football. It was a high energy game and there were lots of goals for the fans to cheer.
It was a credit to both teams and supporters to be part of such a great game of football.
