Southwick Rangers U12 Girls vs Gatwick United FC U12 Girls ended 1-1.
Just our second game of the season playing 9v9 with the dreaded offside rule and already a huge improvement, taking methods from what has been learned in training to the field of play. We settled well into the game and was unfortunate not to take the lead with a goal ruled out for offside for the second game running.
We fell behind 1-0 which was slightly against the run of play and this score went well into the second half. Still with some very good, passing football being played we stayed in the game right til the end and with the final kick of the match we equalised with a very good solo goal from our current top score within this league format, and it was no more than we deserved. Well done to all 12 Girls that were involved, your parents, coaches and the club are really proud of how far you’ve come snd will continue to Gatwick United.
